Dr. Bob Rodgers is the founder of Bob Rodgers Ministries and Word Broadcasting Media, a national ministry that broadcasts across 54 television stations and 7 radio stations, with a unique presence through the only broadcast Christian television station in the Holy Land in Israel.

In addition to Bob Rodgers Ministries, Dr. Rodgers has served as senior leader of Evangel World Prayer Center for over three decades. Alongside his wife, Margaret Rodgers, he has helped guide the church’s growth and vision. Under Dr. Rodgers’ leadership, Evangel World Prayer Center has flourished with more than 20 extension churches in Louisville and the surrounding areas. These extensions strengthen local communities while supporting vital inner-city outreach initiatives.

Dr. Bob Rodgers has left a profound mark on his community and beyond through over three decades of ministry leadership. He carries an unwavering passion for prayer and fasting, which has become a defining emphasis of his life and ministry.

At the beginning of his ministry, following a 40-day fast, Dr. Rodgers felt a calling from God to “reach the poor of your city.” In obedience to that assignment, he established The Lord’s Kitchen (TLK), which has become a beacon of hope for the inner city. TLK provides meals for more than 60,000 people each month, offers housing for veterans, and assists individuals on their journey to recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Dr. Rodgers’ ministry has transcended borders, as he has shared his message in as many as 47 nations worldwide.

Dr. Rodgers is a distinguished alumnus of Asbury Theological Seminary and holds an earned doctorate from Oral Roberts University. He is also a prolific author, having written more than 60 books, including the best-seller The 21 Day Fast. He is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, whose life reflects a deep commitment to faith, family, service, and spiritual leadership.
